Packaging redesigns live or die by the clarity of the brief. For Straits Preserves, the challenge was straightforward but demanding: modernise without losing heritage, differentiate across four variants while maintaining a cohesive family identity.
The solution centred on a visual language rooted in Singapore’s botanical and cultural history. Each flavour — Tropical Calamansi, Singapore Sling, Ginger Garden, Spice Island — was given its own botanical illustration, colour story, and narrative panel, while the shared typographic system and label architecture kept the range unified on shelf.
The refined cartouche label, paired with expressive script and a clean white base, strikes the balance between old-world charm and contemporary premium positioning. A brand built on provenance deserved packaging that could carry that story — box by box, flavour by flavour.
