Project Detail
Heritage is only as alive as the stories told about it. For the National Heritage Board’s Heritage Education Highlights 2018, Leap was tasked with designing a publication that does exactly that — making Singapore’s cultural institutions feel inviting, navigable, and relevant to students and educators alike.
Spanning seven institutions and multiple audience tiers, the catalogue required a design system capable of handling significant content complexity without sacrificing clarity. A tiered colour-coding scheme — from pre-school programmes through to tertiary and all-ages offerings — gives each section its own visual identity while maintaining cohesion across the whole. Edge-tab navigation ensures readers land exactly where they need to be.
The cover’s hand-drawn architectural illustrations quietly set the tone: these are not just buildings, but living repositories of collective memory. Every layout decision served a single purpose — to lower the barrier between a student and their heritage.
