Gryphon Tea Company’s Artisan Selection had already established itself as a premium tea range with a distinct visual language. The Rooibos Series called for something bolder — a new chapter within a familiar world.
Working within the established Artisan Selection framework, Leap developed four distinct packaging designs for the Rooibos collection: Azteca d’Oro, Coba Cabana, Mogambo, and Tomatino. Each variant was given its own colour identity and bespoke botanical illustration, drawn from the character of its ingredients — cacao pods and tropical flora, passion fruit and pomegranate, sun-warmed tomatoes and carrot fronds.
The Gryphon brand hallmarks — burgundy borders, copper typography, the signature white label panel — remained constant. What changed was the world behind each window.
The collection launch campaign extended the Africa narrative into a full-page magazine advertisement, anchored by a vibrant continent silhouette composed of cultural icons and ingredient motifs. Vibrant. Celebratory. Unmistakably Gryphon.
